2. Accepting these terms

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

3. What this website is for

The site presents our company, services and products, and lets you contact us or book a call on our Cal.com booking page. Nothing is sold or paid through it. Sending the contact form or booking a call does not create a contract or any obligation for you or for us.

4. Information on the site

We keep the content accurate and up to date, but it is general information, not a binding offer or professional advice for your specific case. Case studies describe real projects; results depend on each client’s context, so they show our experience and do not guarantee the same outcome for you. Client names are withheld under confidentiality agreements, and references are available on request. Product statuses, such as “early access” or “in development”, may change.

5. Engagements, payments, cancellations and refunds

Every engagement starts with a written proposal or contract that sets the scope, price, payment schedule, and the cancellation and refund terms. That document prevails over these terms. Because nothing is purchased on this website, there are no online payments to refund here. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights, including those under Brazil’s Consumer Defense Code, are not affected.

6. Intellectual property

The texts, layout, the Parente IT name and logo, and the images and graphics on this site belong to Parente IT. You may link to the site and quote short excerpts with attribution, but you may not copy or reuse the content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

All images, icons and graphics on the site were created by us; we do not use stock photos. The fonts Schibsted Grotesk and IBM Plex are used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, and copies of the license are published with the font files (Schibsted Grotesk, IBM Plex).

Other names and trademarks mentioned on the site, such as technology platforms, vendors and certifications, belong to their owners. We mention them only to describe the technologies we work with; this does not imply any affiliation, partnership or endorsement.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use the site or the contact form to send spam, malicious code or unlawful content, and do not try to disrupt the site or access it without authorisation.

8. Links to other websites

The site links to other websites, such as LinkedIn. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

9. Liability

The site is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from the use of the site or from it being temporarily unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms. The current version is always published on this page with its date.

11. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, including the Internet Civil Framework (Law 12,965/2014) and, for personal data, the General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13,709/2018). Where the EU or UK GDPR applies to you, we also respect the rights it gives you.

Any dispute about these terms will be settled by the courts of Lins, São Paulo, Brazil, unless mandatory law gives you the right to go to the courts where you live, for example as a consumer. Each engagement contract may set its own governing law and jurisdiction.
