Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: 22 October 2026
Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use parenteit.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification or voice control. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML with landmarks, a logical heading order and a “Skip to content” link.
- Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
- Text and interface colours meet the WCAG AA contrast ratios.
- Every form field has a visible label, required fields are announced to assistive technologies, and form status messages are read out.
- Buttons and links say where they lead or what they do.
- Decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers, and the site has no images of text.
- The layout adapts from 320-pixel phones to large screens and works at 200% zoom without losing content.
- Smooth scrolling is switched off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- English and Portuguese versions, each marked with its language.
How we test
On 22 October 2026 we reviewed the English and Portuguese pages with automated checks (axe-core and Google Lighthouse) and manual tests: keyboard-only navigation, a 320-pixel phone screen and 200% zoom. We check again whenever the site changes significantly.
Known limitations
We are not aware of any accessibility barriers on the site. Automated tools and our own tests cannot catch everything, so if you find a problem, please tell us.
