1. Who we are

Parente IT Ltda (“Parente IT”, “we”, “us”) is a software engineering company registered in the IFZA free zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy question, write to willian@parenteit.com.

2. What this policy covers

This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit parenteit.com, contact us through the website or by email, and receive emails from us, including emails sent through our email delivery provider, Mailjet.

3. Data we collect

• Contact form: your name, company (optional), email address, region, type of need and the message you write.
• Correspondence: the emails you send us and our replies.
• Email delivery data: your email address and name, the list you are subscribed to, and delivery events such as sends, bounces, opens, clicks and unsubscribes. Opens and clicks are measured with a small image and tracked links inside the email.
• Technical data: when you visit the site, our hosting provider processes your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request, to deliver the site and protect it against abuse.

parenteit.com does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it does not load fonts or scripts from third parties.

4. Why we use your data

• To answer your inquiry and prepare a proposal, at your request, before any contract (and in our legitimate interest in answering business inquiries).
• To deliver a project or service to you or your company, as needed to perform the contract.
• To send news, insights and updates about our services by email, only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To send operational emails about an inquiry or project in progress, as needed for the contract or in our legitimate interests.
• To keep the website secure and working, in our legitimate interests.
• To meet legal obligations, such as accounting and tax records.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

5. Emails sent through Mailjet

We use Mailjet, an email delivery service of the Sinch group, to send emails. Mailjet processes your data only on our instructions, under a data processing agreement, and states that it stores customer data in data centres in the European Union. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. When you unsubscribe, we keep your address on a suppression list only to make sure you are not emailed again. 6. Who we share data with

We share personal data only with service providers that act on our instructions:

• Netlify, Inc. (United States): website hosting and contact form processing.
• Google LLC (Google Workspace): business email and documents.
• Mailjet / Sinch (European Union): email delivery.

We may also disclose data when required by law, or to professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers who are bound by confidentiality.

7. International transfers

We are based in the United Arab Emirates and our providers operate in the United States and the European Union, so your data may be processed outside your country. Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, these transfers rely on safeguards recognised by those laws, such as adequacy decisions or the standard contractual clauses included in our providers’ data processing terms.

8. How long we keep your data

• Inquiries that do not become a project: up to 24 months after our last contact.
• Client and contract records: for the duration of the relationship, then as long as accounting and tax law requires.
• Mailing list: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. Suppression list entries are kept so we can respect your choice.
• Hosting logs: for the standard retention period of our hosting provider.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU, EEA or UK under the GDPR, Brazil under the LGPD, or the UAE under its federal data protection law), you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email willian@parenteit.com. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Security

The whole site is served over HTTPS, access to personal data is limited to the people who need it, and we work with providers that follow recognised security practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

11. Children

Our services are intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page with its date. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email when we have your address.
